Use the following eye drops in the surgery eye only: OmniPred – 4 X Day for 1 Month Vigamox – 4 X Day for 1 Week (a refill will be necessary) Nevanac – 4 X Day until out
WAIT 3 MINUTES BETWEEN EACH KIND OF DROP DO NOT RUB YOUR EYES as to avoid bacterial infection
WHAT TO EXPECT: It is normal to have blurred vision and possibly double vision during the first few weeks following your surgery. Your vision will improve week by week. Occasionally, you will see a floating black spot in your vision. Glasses, if needed, are generally prescribed after one month.
Pain Medications - You may use what you have at home for a headache (Tylenol, Aspirin, Aleve, etc.) or you may fill the Ultram prescription given and take one to two (1-2) every four (4) hours as needed for pain.
Continue all eye drops and other medications as
before surgery unless otherwise instructed |
