Dr. Tom McHaney is a native of Marmaduke, Arkansas. After graduating from Arkansas State University, he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and received his optometric doctorate. Since 1978 Dr. McHaney and his wife have resided in Lawrence County.

For more than 25 years Dr. McHaney has operated a successful optometric practice in Walnut Ridge that offers the community comprehensive family eye care. In addition to the fitting of glasses and contact lenses, he also specializes in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. He is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Optometry and is certified in ocular therapeutics.
